Menifee recently got a call from our veterinarian asking us to help a older couple with a litter of 5 pups to rehome them. Imagine our surprise when we learned there were eight puppies, they were 6 months old, and they had basically no training. The couple was adamant the pups be euthanized if we didn't take them, so we did. They are beautiful dogs but need love and training and will be very large dogs, so until we can gauge their interactions with small children, we advise placement in home with older children only. There were 7 boys and one girl. These dogs don't have a mean bone in their bodies! Sam is now available for adoption to a good and loving home. If you have a lot of love to share with a best friend please adopt one of our wonderful pets. All pets are fully vetted. Transport is available. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sam was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sam’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sam’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sam’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
