Say Hi to Sandy!This young lady is a 5 year old Terrier/Chi mix. Sandy is house trained, UTD on vaccines and spayed. She walks well on a leash and loves walks, playing with the neighborhood kids and being outdoors. She LOVES to chase squirrels and birds, so a fenced yard would be a big plus for this good girl.After her outdoor adventures, Sandy loves to cuddle up with her people on the couch or chair. She is good with other dogs (she has not been cat tested). Sandy is a good eater and loves treats! She has a calm temperment, but is a good watch dog. Her foster Mom says she has supersonic hearing!! Sandy needs to know where you are at all times.....she is a true companion dog. She is smart and knows basic commands.Does Sandy sound like a great best friend for you? For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sandy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sandy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sandy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sandy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
