About this Dog
Hello,my name is Indy. I am a 3 year old Shepard Mix. The vet believes I have some Mastiff in me.I was adopted by mom in December, after being in a foster home for 5 months. Sadly, my first owners treated me badly, and because of that I have major anxiety and trust issues. My mom has been working with me, and she loves me so, so much, but living in a one bedroom apartment, without a backyard is not conducive to what I need. My mom thinks I have leash reactivity, and because of that I have bitten two dogs.The injuries were minor, but my mom can no longer keep me and the shelter said they can't take me back because I have a biting history now. I don't want to be put down! Once I feel safe with someone, I love you with all my heart! I am fully potty trained, I can be left out when my owner is gone with no issues, and I sleep either in bed with my mom, on my own bed, or on the couch at night. I just need a place where I can run and be free, and be loved with all of the cuddles.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Indy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Indy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Indy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Indy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
