About this Dog
Winnie is a beautiful 7-month-old (best guesstimate) pup with a heart full of love, a spirit full of fun, and a story ready for its happy ending. We believe she's likely a Lab mix?? Winnie was found as a stray alongside her canine companion, Boris, and both were in desperate need of a helping hand. They were both quite dirty and covered in fleas upon their arrival to the local Iowa County pound, but after some much-needed medical attention, a few baths, and lots of TLC, Winnie (and Boris) is now healthy, happy, and ready to find a loving home of her own. Winnie has flourished in her time with us, showing off a playful, affectionate personality that wins over everyone she meets. She's a puppy through and through, with all the adorable antics that come with it. Her energy is infectious, but we know puppy obedience training and structured potty training schedule would benefit Winnie in being successful in her new home. Winnie is incredibly smart and eager to please, making her an excellent candidate for training. Winnie has appeared to get along with other dogs being non-reactive towards other dogs nearby. A dog of alike mannerisms and puppy-like demeanor may be a great fit for Winnie to help with her playful puppy antics. We just know she will make a wonderful addition to a family looking for a loyal, lifelong friend. If you're looking for a dog that will bring joy, laughter, and endless tail wags into your life, look no further than Winnie. She's ready to be filled with wonderful memories of walks in the park, cozy nights on the couch, and a forever family to call her own. Are you ready to open your heart and home to this incredible girl? Please complete an online adoption application as the first step of the meet & greet/adoption process - this application can be found on our website at www.wesavepets.com. Once the application has been submitted, a Safe Haven volunteer will be in touch to discuss the next steps and to schedule a meet & greet time.

100% of Winnie's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Winnie.
Adopt Winnie and Receive Winnie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Winnie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Winnie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Winnie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Winnie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Winnie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Winnie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Winnie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Winnie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
