About this Dog
Grizzly is one very special dog - that was deeply loved by his owner. Sadly due to some major life changes, the owner made the very hard decision to surrender Grizzly to Safe Haven and entrust us with finding him a new forever home. Grizzly is a 4&1/2 year old Rottweiler/Shepherd mix - and his owner had raised him from a young puppy. Grizzly seems to really enjoy his walks and playing in our play yards. He can be a little protective of his people that he has bonded with, but overall has made many new friends with all the different volunteers at Safe Haven. Grizzly's favorite things to do include running around the yard playing, chasing balls, etc - and then coming inside and crashing on the couch for a good long nap. He does a great job of coming up to his owner when they are inside to let him know that he needs to go outside to the bathroom. He is used to being kenneled when home alone, and sleeping in bed with his person when they are both home. Grizzly does not do well around cats, and doesn't seem to be comfortable around other dogs, so he would likely do best in a home where he can be an only pet. Grizzly is a very supportive dog that enjoys cuddle time when he is relaxing inside - at times he can even become a couch potato when he is inside!Interested in adopting this pet? Adopt Grizzly and Receive Grizzly's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Grizzly's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Grizzly's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Grizzly, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Grizzly's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Grizzly was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Grizzly’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Grizzly’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Grizzly’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
