About this Dog
***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org*** Meet Maddie! This sweet sweet girl was found in a nature preserve in the wet and cold of spring along with a couple of other pups that we believe were her siblings. Maddie has been with us at the shelter since the first part of April and is now looking for her forever home. Her sister Matilda has already been spoken for but since both of the girls are in the 4-H dog training program, her new family is waiting to take her home. We would love love love for Maddie to also have a home of her very own to go to when she is done showing off all of her new skills and talents at the finale of the dog show which takes place the end of July. Maddie is super friendly, gets along with everyone she meets and very playful. She has good leash skills and loves to be in the mix with people. Maddie also absolutely loves to be outside! We don't often have a dog that we feel would be a good fit to be an inside/outside dog, but Maddie certainly would enjoy that lifestyle. Maddie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. She is ready to go to a home where she can get lots of love and have space to run around and then plop in the shade for a big nap! Her adoption fee is $300.00

Adopt Maddie and Receive Maddie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Maddie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Maddie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Maddie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Maddie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Maddie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Maddie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Maddie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Maddie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
