About this Cat
Sasha has a lot to say, most of it complaints. To be fair, her previous outdoor life as a declawed long haired stray was extremely unfair. Being removed from that life and forced to share an indoor habitat with strange cats was also unfair, even if it was the safest decision humans could make for her. Sasha is far too sweet and defenseless to be out there on her own. Not to mention the matting! This poor girl is currently rocking the “people concerned with comfort and not looks tried to give me a lion cut” style and just as mad about it as you might expect. All things considered, she really deserves to be treated like she is the center of the universe. She requires regular head scritches and ear scratches and petting - but not down her back too close to her tail or she will (she says) eviscerate you and shred your arms. How dare you give her what she demanded for 0.38 seconds longer than she wanted? You are not fit to touch her, but she allowed you the privilege without murdering you on the spot for your audacity and slowness and THIS is how you do it?! And now you stop? How dare! That said, Sasha really wants to be loved and the big talk is mostly just talk. Her voice is her first and very overused defense. Sasha is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. As always, cat/kitten adoptions are free will donation to approved applicants. ****The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org****

Adopt Sasha and Receive Sasha's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sasha's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Sasha's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Sasha, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Sasha's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sasha was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sasha’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sasha’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sasha’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
