About this Dog
***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org*** This gorgeous gal Momma Sue. She is a pure bred Australin shepherd. You may remember her from the video of the night she was rescued? She had been at large for months and the efforts to secure her were not working. Then during the first ice storm of the season someone found her puppies and the rest is history. Her pups have all gone to their forever homes and are doing amazing. Now its time for Sue to find her forever home. After her pups left the nest, Sue moved on to a foster home as well. She was so sad to be all alone in the puppy room with no one to play with. Her foster has other dogs and cats and Sue does great with all of them. Sue is about 2 years old, loving and affectionate with her humans. She is kennel trained and house trained and loves to snuggle on the couch. She is learning to play with toys and is still pretty scared of new things but with time and patience she will continue to learn that people care about her and are safe. She would do best in a home with other dogs and older kids. She does prefer women but she is ok with men. Sue is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $275.00

Adopt Sue and Receive Sue's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sue's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Sue's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Sue, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Sue's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sue was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sue’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sue’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sue’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
