About this Dog
Mary is an approximate 15 lbs., female, Italian Greyhound mix that is about 2.5 years old. She was recently surrendered locally by her owner due to housing issues. Mary is an active dog that requires a large, fenced yard so she can reach her maximum Greyhound speed without worry of her leaving the yard. She has the Greyhound speed and agility for sure! Mary is described as super easy going and happy all of the time. She loves being with people, cuddling with her foster family, and going for walks. She does tend to enjoy the smells on her walks so needs to work on walking beside her owner a bit more. Her ideal home would be an active home that can take Mary on adventures. She has gotten along with other dogs, and she has had experience at doggy daycare in the past. Her foster mom reports that she is quick to learn. She is house trained, and crate trained (although she doesn't go in voluntarily) and will sleep quietly in her crate all night. Mary's favorite past time is running and lounging in her fenced yard. If you are interested in meeting Mary, please complete an online application at https://hopeanimalrescueofiowa.duplie.com/forms/196/dog-application Adoption fee is $250 which includes spay/neuter, microchip, and age appropriate vaccines.

Adopt Mary and Receive Mary's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Mary's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Mary's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Mary, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Mary's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mary was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mary’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Mary’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mary’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
