Tobias is an 18-week-old, male, approximate 30 lb., German Shepherd Dog/Weimaraner mix with a sensitive soul and a smart, eager-to-please personality. He’s thriving in his foster home, where he enjoys playing with the resident dogs and cats, going for walks, and spending time with people—including kids, who he’s playful and sweet with. He’s making excellent progress with potty training and sleeps quietly in his crate at night. Tobias loves going for walks and is working on staying focused—though sometimes there’s just too much exciting stuff to sniff! Ask him to sit and he’ll wiggle with pride as he shows off his skills—he can’t wait to make you happy. As a mix of two active, intelligent breeds, Tobias will do best in a home that can offer plenty of physical activity and mental enrichment. He’s not suited for apartment living or homes without a yard. Tobias is expected to grow into a large adult dog, so continued training and socialization will be key to helping him grow into a confident, well-mannered companion. We encourage potential adopters to research both the German Shepherd Dog and Weimaraner breeds to better understand his future needs. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tobias was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tobias’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Tobias’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tobias’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
