Stevie is a beautiful, symmetrically marked tuxedo girl. She is the perfect blend of independent, playful and affectionate. She immediately starts to purr when you talk to her, pet her or pick her up. And it's a loud purr! She loves playing with the other cats in her foster home. She has no trouble keeping up even though they are bigger. She was initially leary of the dogs in the house and would hiss, but after giving her time to adjust to them and making sure the dogs were using their manners, she isn't bothered by them anymore. She has a favorite blanket she loves to make biscuits and fall asleep on. She loves wand toys, catnip and wrestling and playing chase with the other cats in her foster home. She is especially fond of fellow foster kitty Lucky if you are considering adopting a pair! She really is just a perfectly happy kitten!! Stevie's adoption fee is $100 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations, and an FeLV test. Stevie is seeking an indoor only home and Last Hope requires all adopters have a history of keeping their pets altered and current on vaccinations/preventatives. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Stevie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Stevie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Stevie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Stevie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
