About this Dog
Introducing Steele, a handsome bundle of spirit and vitality. This energetic boy dreams of a home with a large yard for ample exercise. He has an insatiable love for walks, always ready to set out on an adventure. Steele's rough and tumble play style can be overwhelming for young kids and smaller pets, but a companion of similar size and energy would be wonderful. Steele will thrive with a patient and experienced owner who is committed to enrichment, regular walks and helping him channel his energy productively. Steele is potty trained, trusted to not be kenneled in his current foster home, and already knows basic commands such as sit and shake. Steele is food motivated and eager to learn and please! He's also got the potential to be a terrific couch hog given the opportunity! Steele was heartworm positivewhen he joined our rescue, he has undergone heartworm treatment through our veterinarian and is now healthy. It is important that Steele remain on monthly prescription preventatives year round for the rest of his life! Steele's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives. Steele is seeking an indoor only home, if you are interested in meeting him please submit an adoption application through the website for consideration (Adopthope.org). Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, be altered and kept current on vaccinations and preventatives for consideration.

Adopt Steele and Receive Steele's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Steele's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Steele's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Steele, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Steele's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Steele was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Steele’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Steele’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Steele’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
