Mocha is a sweet, shy girl who is just learning that people are good things to be around. If you sit quietly and give her time, she will come to you to be petted. Mocha is an easy-going girl, like her mom Trixie, and she is making great strides every day towards being a pampered house-cat. She has come a long way from the frightened, feral kitten she was three months ago, and she will continue to improve with a forever home that allows her to move at her own pace. Mocha is up to date on all her shots, spayed, and litter box trained. She is a beautiful little girl who wants to give her love to her person – she’s just a little nervous still. Can you be patient with her? Because if you can, you will end up with a wonderful, beautiful and loving cat, just as sweet as the drink she was named for. Mocha's adoption fee is $100 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations, and an FeLV test. Mocha is seeking an indoor only home and Last Hope requires all adopters have a history of keeping their pets altered and current on vaccinations/preventatives. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mocha was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mocha’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Mocha’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mocha’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
