About this Dog
QUINN NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Quinn Best Guess for Breed: Beagle and hound mix Best Guess for Age: 4 years as of March 2024 SEX: Male Approximate Weight: 20 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested Currently Living at: DC area foster home. Check out this video of Quinn: https://youtu.be/7r9XgReX8rU. Special adoption considerations: Quinn is shy and needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog to show him the ropes. Because of his shy personality, we do not recommend him for a home with children under the age of 12. Quinn is Looking For: His forever family! This sweetie had a home and ended up in the shelter due to no fault of his own. He's looking forward to his new chapter, eagerly awaiting all the sniffy walks he will get with his new humans (that beagle nose!), romps in the park, and all the adventures they can dream up. He's well out of the puppy yips and as a wise, experienced dog, knows what's most important in life: Being safe and loved and under his own roof, and that's right at the top of his wish list. In exchange, he offers all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags he's stockpiling at the shelter - lots of laughs at his doggy antics - and loyal companionship for all his days. What do you say? Is Quinn the one for your home and your heart? What My Foster Says About Me: Quinn is a very sweet, playful, and energetic guy who loves gong for long sniffy walks. He is most comfortable with dogs his own size and is a bit fearful of strange men. Quinn is a smart dog who enjoys learning new things. Quinn has learned sit and stay; he is currently working on leave it and down. Foster update 6/04/2024: Quinn is a playful and affectionate pup. He is pretty shy and scared around new people and crowds. At home he takes some time to warm up, but once he trusts you he's very very sweet. He'll follow you around and sleep quietly while you work, or snuggle with you when you're on the couch. He's great with dogs and loves to chase and wrestle. He's responded well to crate training during the night and sleeps quietly. He's treat-motivated and smart, responsive to corrections and has good recall. He knows outside is the bathroom and hasn't had any accidents inside. Quinn does great in car rides; he goes to sleep and is not bothered at all. Because he's shy and scared in big crowds, he doesn't do well at adoption events. He will need a home with people who have the patience, time and love to continue his leash training and people socialization. Quinn has so much love to give, adopting him will be adding a great friend. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Adopt Quinn and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Quinn's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Quinn's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Quinn, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Quinn's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Quinn was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Quinn’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Quinn’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Quinn’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
