Hiya, my names Sandy. I’m an adult boxer pit mix that loves belly rubs. I’m looking for someone to recognize what a good girl I am. I am selective with other dogs and require a meet and greet to see if we are compatible. Although I like to give hugs, I’m very gentle and not jumpy. I would do great with kids. I haven’t experienced living with cats, but the staff says they can test me here at the shelter. I often spend time in the office. I like to curl up at the staff’s feet while they work. I’m so quiet and well behaved; sometimes the staff forgets I’m hanging out with them. I’ve recently had my first official car ride. Although I need help jumping into a larger vehicle, I’m a very well on car rides. I sit right down and like to look out the windows. I’m usually very excited to get outside and once I get to run around the play yard, I’m excellent on the leash. Please consider adding me to your family. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sandy-Sponsored was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sandy-Sponsored’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sandy-Sponsored’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sandy-Sponsored’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
