About this Dog
Say hello to Chops! This handsome 1-year-old pup is as sweet as they come and is searching for a second chance at a loving forever home. Chops was recently surrendered through no fault of his own, and while change can be a little scary, he’s doing his best to adjust with a wagging tail and hopeful heart.Chops is a playful boy who loves squeaky toys, balls, and tugging on rope toys. He enjoys the company of other dogs and would likely thrive in a home with a confident canine buddy to show him the ropes and help boost his confidence. While he can be a little shy at first, once he warms up, he’s a loyal and affectionate friend. He already knows “sit” and “stay,” and his previous owner noted that he’s housetrained—smart and well-mannered! Chops has lived with children (ages 9 and 12) and did well, but would do best with kids who are respectful of his space as he builds trust.Chops also lived with two cats in his previous home, though he did like to chase them. With the right guidance, patience, and some tasty treats (he's very food motivated!), Chops has the potential to learn how to live peacefully with feline friends. If you’re looking for a gentle soul with a playful side, Chops might just be the perfect addition to your family. Come meet this sweet boy and see if he's the missing piece to your home! ❤️Give the shelter a call at (574) 267-3008 or email them at [email protected] if you have any questions about me! 100% of Chops's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Chops.
Adopt Chops and Receive Chops's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Chops's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Chops's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Chops, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Chops's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Chops was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Chops’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Chops’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Chops’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
