About this Dog
Born 1-20-2021 Terrier mix Marigold was dumped on a dead-end road. She was able to find a farmhouse with caring people to help her until she could come to the shelter. She is a somewhat shy girl but will easily warm up to people. She has no obedience training but is learning quickly. Marigold does NOT mix well with other female dogs but gets along well at the shelter with a young male playmate. She is a beautiful girl with a soft coat and the sweetest face. She really needs to find her forever family. We recently had a volunteer say this about Marigold: Mike says Marigold is an awesome dog. She is chill, loving and isn't aggressive with her regular playmates. She loves to play and be loved on. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Marigold was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Marigold’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Marigold’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Marigold’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
