About this Dog
Bugsy is 11. He had his eye removal surgery in August of 2024, is partially deaf, and is on a strict diet. He knows no strangers and loves to be petted by anyone who will pet him. He has never shown any type of aggression except when the vet cut his quick one time, he tried to give him a little nip. He gets along great with all animals. He loves to go to the farmers' market in his wagon and get pets from all the people. He loves food, snacks, treats, watermelon, cantaloupe, plain yogurt with chia seeds and flaxseed, peanut butter, fresh peppers, carrots, broccoli, blueberries, and any type of fish/seafood. He is a sleepy boy who needs lots of attention. He loves to fall asleep on his humans with pillows, blankets, and a fan. He doesn't like to be alone. He will "bork" any time he needs something. He loves to be carried around in his baby carrier, going for car rides, going for wagon rides, and going to new places. He isn't exactly house-trained, but has no issues wearing a diaper. He doesn't pee on the couch or beds, only around the house if he runs into something. He knows to go potty when he is outside. He has to be carried outside and back inside since he is blind. He isn't exactly keen on trying to find things by himself. He does not go down stairs but will go up them with support. His eye scars do get itchy, so he likes them rubbed and scratched. He loves playing with toys, licking faces, and his daily glucosamine and greenie. He gets gas sometimes, which can be remedied with simethicone, pumpkin, and pre-/probiotics. He gets attached to one person, and that is his person. He is good with baths, and you don't have to worry about getting soap in his eyes!! He has seizures, but not often enough for medication. He is a lover boy through and through.

Adopt Bugsy and Receive Bugsy's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Bugsy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Bugsy's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Bugsy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Bugsy's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bugsy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bugsy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bugsy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bugsy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
