About this Cat
We heard this adorable “teenage” cat mewing like crazy in the small woods behind our house. It was obviously distressed and in need of food, water, and attention. It took little time to coax it up to our patio, where we proceeded to give it tuna, turkey, and water, which it voraciously devoured. As soon as we opened the patio door, it entered our house and our hearts. It is SUPER affectionate! However, we have a 5-year-old dog that is very protective of us. The dog feels it rules the roost, and so does the kitty. Perhaps over time they would become good pals, but right now the situation is too stressful for all parties involved. The kitty loves people but was either abandoned in the woods or got away from its owners. It needs and deserves a good home.

This is to ensure that the home is a good match and this cat was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, this cat’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the this cat’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, this cat’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
