About this Dog
Meet Teddy – A Sweet Golden Doodle Ready for a New BeginningTeddy is a 5 -6 -month-old male Golden Doodle weighing approximately 30 lbs. He came from a hoarding situation involving multiple breeds and litters, where he was locked up and essentially forgotten. Despite this rough start, Teddy has made remarkable progress in a short time. About Teddy: Teddy's adults weight will be around 50 lbs. His parents were reportedly a Standard bred to a Miniature. When he first arrived, Teddy was shy and skittish. That changed overnight—he now loves everyone he’s met, though he may remain cautious with strangers until he knows them. He’s almost housebroken and has had no accidents while on a regular schedule. Teddy is not fond of small dogs. He’s protective of his food around them, likely due to his past environment. He’s calm, sweet, gentle, and loving with people he knows.. Teddy does not walk on a leash yet and will need training and socialization. Adoption Criteria – No Exceptions: A fenced-in backyard (no invisible fences) Someone who is home more during the day and has time for a puppy No crates – Teddy does best in a room with a baby gate if he must be left alone for short periods during the day. Children must be age 10 or older We will consider homes with no dogs or up to one dog (no multi-dog households). A friendly dog that is low-key and calm, like Teddy, would be the best fit. A meet and greet may be required. Included with Adoption Fee: Vaccinations are up to date. Deworming is being done. Heartworm and flea prevention are current. A microchip is implanted. The veterinarian has conducted an exam. He will be neutered on August 19th. Please put in an online application on our website by clicking the " Adopt" button under his photo. www.indianasaveadog.com

Adopt Teddy and Receive Teddy's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Teddy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Teddy's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Teddy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Teddy's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Teddy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Teddy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Teddy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Teddy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
