About this Dog
Meet Piper! *Her adoption fee is $200.00. Looking for a loyal companion who’s equal parts cuddlebug and camping queen? Say hello to Piper, a 2-year-old Goldendoodle mix (we think – only a DNA test could say for sure!) with a heart as big as her bark. Personality: Piper is a big baby at heart, but she’s also a confident gal who likes to be the boss. She’s made amazing progress with her reactivity, but she still needs slow introductions to new dog friends, especially those with strong personalities like hers. Walks: Piper walks best with a gentle lead and a short leash—no pull halters, please. Muzzle Trained: She’s a pro at wearing her muzzle and should keep it on for vet and grooming visits until she feels safe. Meeting New People: Piper takes her time warming up. She prefers a “no look, no touch” approach at first—let her come to you when she’s ready, and you’ll have a best friend for life. Kid Policy: No children under 13, and even then, they need to be mature and respectful of Piper’s space. Home Sweet Home: Apartment life isn’t for Piper—she’s a window watcher and will bark at passersby. A house with a fenced yard is ideal, but if you’re an active family, she’ll be happy to tag along on your adventures. Good Girl Stats: ~Crate trained~Potty trained~Knows basic obedience~Loves camping, snuggling, and sleeping in your bed Piper is looking for a patient, loving family who’ll give her the time and space she needs to blossom. If you think you’re the one, we’d love for you to meet her!New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure. *The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record. If you would like to adopt this very special K-9 kid, please go DIRECTLY to our website to complete our convenient Online Adoption Form. Adopt Piper and Receive Piper's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Piper's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Piper's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Piper, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Piper's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Piper was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Piper’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Piper’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Piper’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
