About this Dog
Lucy is about a 4 to 5 year old poodle terrier mix. She’s got the markings of a border collie and the hair of a poodle terrier. She is 26 pounds, spayed, and up-to-date on vaccinations. She is very sweet but also very timid. She is not a fear biter, she just takes a little time to get acclimated and warm up. This poor girl was one of the lucky ones pulled from the Magoffin County animal shelter in Kentucky. She was there for over six months living in a kennel with not a lot of human interaction. She loves being around other dogs, so a home with another dog would be required. She has not offered to chase our free range, chickens, or bother our cats. She seems to be crate trained, and doing very well with house training. This little girl would make a wonderful addition to someone’s home. She does need somebody that will be patient with her and give her the time she needs to settle in. It won’t take her long, but she does need a little time to get settled. Please consider giving this super sweet girl a chance! If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting this baby, please fill out an application. They currently are fixed, up to date on shots, wormings, preventatives and are microchipped (with lifetime registration). Adoption fee is $215 with approved application, applications can be filled out at this link. https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/10167/generic .

$0.0 is Louisa Lucille's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Louisa Lucille, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Louisa Lucille's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Louisa Lucille was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Louisa Lucille’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Louisa Lucille’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Louisa Lucille’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
