About this Dog
Spice is a three legged 3 year old female Yorkie who weighs in at 4.4 pounds. This dog's adoption fee is $600. If you are still interested, please read more below. Spice is just the sweetest little girl. She arrived at ARF on 6/15/25. She was spayed and had a dental on 6/12/25 and unfortunately had to have her back right leg amputated on 6/30/25 due to a bad hip socket. She has been cleared by the vet and is ready for her forever home. She would do best in a home with someone around most of the time since she doesn’t like to be all by herself for very long. She’s a big time snuggler and follows her people around from room to room constantly. When her foster parents are busy she can be found hanging out with her canine foster brother and sisters. Given how tiny she is, she would probably do best in a home with adults only or a family with older kids who can give her space when needed. We’re still working on house training, but if her foster parents see her walking a big circle in the room that means she’s needing to go outside. Spice is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations and spayed. This dog's family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing. A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you are interested in adopting this dog, fill out an Online Application today! Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting.

Adopt Spice and Receive Spice's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Spice's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Spice's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Spice, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Spice's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Spice was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Spice’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Spice’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Spice’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
