Let freedom ring for this little guy and celebrate the 4th of July season with a loyal little patriot of your own! Things were not so happy at one time for this sweet terrier mix, as baby Ben and his whole canine family were abandoned and left for the worst. But, luckily for them ARF came to the rescue. You’ll just need to love and cherish this sweet angel! In return, you will have a faithful pal, cuddly TV buddy, and a precious partner to snuggle with all night long (yes, he likes to sleep in bed with his humans, and boy, is he a dream!) Benny loves belly rubs and even likes to be held like a baby! He is affectionate and playful, working hard on his potty-training and, of course, he is still learning all things puppy! He will be a great addition to any family! This pup is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and neutered. The new family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing. Please note ARF does not approve applications for any puppy under 6 months of age to families that live outside of Illinois and/or beyond 100 miles of Wheaton or Glen Ellyn, IL. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Benjamin Franklin was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Benjamin Franklin’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Benjamin Franklin’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Benjamin Franklin’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
