This sweet, playful girl is ready to steal your heart. She loves to play fetch and catch with her toys and will keep you laughing with her kitten antics. With her foster family, she's an absolute cuddlebug - purring and snuggling whenever she can. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her a little time (and maybe a Churu treat or two) and she'll quickly warm up, becoming your loyal shadow In fact, she'll do anything for a Churu and will soon consider you her very best friend. Nyx would do best in a home without dogs, as they make her nervous. She will probably be fine with another friendly cat if introductions are done slowly and gently. If you're looking for a loving, playful companion who will reward your patience with endless affection, Nyx might be your perfect match. We encourage you to consider adopting kittens in pairs! There are several reasons why Nyx would do well with a friend, including: -Two kittens keep each other entertained - they will play and get all their energy out on each other in time for snuggles with you! -Having two kittens to play with each other prevents "I'm lonely and bored" behavioral issues. -Watching two kittens wrestle is quite possibly the cutest thing you will ever see. -The kittens will teach each other "how to cat" and learn to be more social with humans and people. -You'll save two lives instead of one! Nyx is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed , and litter box trained. Nyx's adoption fee is $165. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Nyx was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Nyx’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Nyx’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Nyx’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
