Hi! My name is Bendi Lu and I’m very excited to meet you. I am a great house cat and had a home of my own. But unfortunately, my previous owner passed away and her stepdaughter surrendered me to the shelter. So now I’m looking for a new place to call my own. I get along with respectful children, other cats, dogs, and even small animals. Since I’m pretty laid back, I would do well in a home with older children, as long as there aren’t too many loud noises, because those can be frightening. But it sounds awesome to have a bunch of kids who drop food for me and give me pets! If you don’t have kids, no worries of course - I would also thrive in a home with adults-only. I love being brushed and will sit in your lap for cuddles. I have the softest fur that I keep well-maintained! I am totally fine with being picked up and carried, although I’d rather follow you on foot. I am laid-back and can be independent, if you have a job that keeps you away from home a good bit. But I also would be overjoyed to be around humans 24/7. I am always asking for pets and you can usually find me lounging on the stairs in the house or hanging out in my cat tree. In terms of playing, I’m a gentle soul but I do love to lightly pounce on toys and chase around some crinkle balls or other fun toys. I really love catnip toys and I like to hide them around the house for you to find! I enjoy playing with other cats too and would love to join a home or go home with another friendly feline. Bendi Lu is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained. Bendi Lu’s adoption fee is $135. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bendi Lu was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bendi Lu’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bendi Lu’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bendi Lu’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
