About this Dog
Derby is a 2.5 month old female Bernedoodle who weighs in at 19 pounds. This pup's adoption fee is $850. If you are still interested, please read more below. Derby is a super social, playful, and cute pup who is currently being fostered with her brother Knox. She is still warming up to her foster family but loves pets and cuddles. She gallops like a horse when she gets excited. Derby is still working on her potty training but as long as you’re on top of letting her outside, she is good about not having accidents. This sweet pup is also so sweet with other dogs and just wants to play and cuddle with them. This pup is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and spayed. The new family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing. Please note ARF does not approve applications for any puppy under 6 months of age to families that live outside of Illinois and/or beyond 100 miles of Wheaton or Glen Ellyn, IL. A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you're interested in adopting this pup fill out an online application today! https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/ Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting. ARF is an all volunteer organization. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved. Thank you for your patience!

Adopt Derby and Receive Derby's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Derby's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Derby's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Derby, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Derby's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Derby was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Derby’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Derby’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Derby’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
