This girl may be tiny, but don't let that fool you. She has a BIG personality. Coal loves to play, play, play! She's the type of cat that will jump up on her hind legs and bounce around. She runs and climbs and chases anything that moves. She has boundless energy, and because of that, she MUST be adopted with another playful kitty or go to a home that already has a buddy for her. Her sister, Blaze, would be a perfect friend. When Coal isn't playing, she loves to snuggle. She will eagerly curl up in your lap to grab some z's. She loves nice warm blankets, naps in the sunshine and climbing high up in her cat tree. She is the best of all things kitten, and she can't wait to prove it to you. Coal would do well in any type of home environment. She is used to lots of noise and people coming and going, and it doesn't phase her a bit. Kids would be perfectly fine with her. She would also do well in a quiet home, as long as she gets the playtime and attention she needs. Coal would do well with other cats and dogs, too. We encourage you to consider adopting kittens in pairs! There are several reasons why Coal would do good with a friend, including: -Two kittens keep each other entertained - they will play and get all their energy out on each other in time for snuggles with you! -Having two kittens to play with each other prevents "I'm lonely and bored" behavioral issues. -Watching two kittens wrestle is quite possibly the cutest thing you will ever see. -The kittens will teach each other "how to cat" and learn to be more social with humans and people. -You'll save two lives instead of one! Coal is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed , and litter box trained. Coal 's adoption fee is $165. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Coal's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Coal was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Coal’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Coal’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Coal’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
