Hi! My name is Cool Whip and I would love to introduce myself to you all. My foster family gave me this name because I am as sweet as actual Cool Whip. I absolutely adore people and am so excited to get a forever family of my own. Whenever my foster parents come into my room, I am immediately by their feet, seeking lots of pets and cuddles. I love to do figure-eights around their legs and I cannot get enough head rubs. I also love exploring and checking out new areas around the house. Even though I’m an adult cat, I am as playful as a little kitten and will spend hours playing with toys with feathers or toys on strings! My foster family even has a few recommendations of my favorite toys (you might see them in my pictures too). I am a great companion pet and would do well with adults, kids, other cats, and likely even friendly dogs. I am a lover, not a fighter, unless you’re one of my toys! I am energetic and I don’t like to be bored so I will always find something to entertain me. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cool Whip was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cool Whip’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Cool Whip’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cool Whip’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
