Meet Beau- Our little miracle surprise baby! Beau surprised everyone by being born to his mom, Trixie, on transport from a high kill shelter. No one had expected Trixie to be pregnant and were shocked when Beau made his appearance into the world. Since then, he has grown into such a handsome and sweet little gentleman. He has always been a great eater and lives for meal time. All that fuel has to go somewhere, and for Beau it all goes in to playtime. He is obsessed with a good laser toy and will spin in circles for that magical red dot. Wand toys are a close second, which he will chase for hours. He is a big fan of attacking those silly moving feet under blankets and cuddling up on a good warm lap. Beau grew up in a full house surrounded by other kittens and has always had a friend around. Due to his high energy and social nature, Beau is required to go home with another kitten. He also grew up around several dogs and would do great with a canine friend. If you are ready to welcome a friendly, confident, and social boy in to your home, put in your application today! We encourage you to consider adopting kittens in pairs! There are several reasons why Beau would do good with a friend, including: -Two kittens keep each other entertained - they will play and get all their energy out on each other in time for snuggles with you! -Having two kittens to play with each other prevents "I'm lonely and bored" behavioral issues. -Watching two kittens wrestle is quite possibly the cutest thing you will ever see. -The kittens will teach each other "how to cat" and learn to be more social with humans and people. -You'll save two lives instead of one! Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Beau's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Beau was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Beau’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Beau’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Beau’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
