Hi! My name is Chula Vista and I am a hunk of cuteness. I love relaxing in my cat tree, sunbathing in the window, and eating treats. I grew up with a lot of other cats, so you can usually find me sleeping on top of another feline. I grew up in a house that had a lot of cats but not a lot of human attention. So now, I’m excited to meet new people and get to experience a home where I get lots of attention and care. My foster family says that I would do best in a home with another cat. I also need to go to a family that is okay with not having a lap cat - I promise that I can be a lovebug but it definitely takes me a long time to warm up. Will you take a chance on me? Chula Vista has two siblings Maricopa and Whiteriver whom he is very close. All three would love to go home together! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Chula Vista was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Chula Vista’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Chula Vista’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Chula Vista’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
