Hi everyone! My name is Kate. I am a 3 year old Belgian Malinois. I came all the way from Kentucky after my owner died. I love everyone I meet. The little kids still make me a little nervous but I am learning! I am a great walker and barely pull on the lead unless there’s a bird, squirrel, or rabbit! I just want to play with them. I am fully potty trained and I sleep quiet in my crate all night. I don’t know how to play much with toys but I am learning. I get along with most dogs I meet. I’d love a doggy sibling but I’m okay being an only dog as well. I love being outside and love to go on walks! I would make a great addition to any family! Do you have space on your couch for me ?! IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed! *please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kate was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kate’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Kate’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kate’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
