Meet Berry! Just like a berry, he’s a very sweet cat who loves attention and is very affectionate. This young guy is a bold, brilliant, and hilariously vocal cat who’s equal parts energy and affection. With his striking good looks—complete with a fabulous raccoon-striped tail—and a voice that just won’t quit, Berry is the kind of kitty who makes sure your life is never lonely... or quiet!Berry thrives in a lively household where people are often around. He would do great in a home with respectful children and adults who understand his need for both attention and independence. Music, TV, visitors—Berry’s here for all of it. He’s not a fan of other cats and would much prefer to be the only feline in the house so he can remain the center of attention (which, trust us, he will be).This headstrong guy is a true people-cat. He follows his foster mom from room to room like a devoted little shadow and wants to be near his humans at all times—preferably under the blankets with them or sitting directly in front of them, staring lovingly (and intently) into their eyes. He’s also a total cuddlebug who loves pets, snuggles, and will chat back when you talk to him—sometimes even sounding like he's speaking English! His foster mom will truly miss his quirky charm and constant, devoted companionship.Berry is extremely playful and needs plenty of daily stimulation. He’s a laser pointer fanatic, a blanket burrower, and a catnip connoisseur. His favorite pastimes include chasing anything that moves, flouncing dramatically in the bathtub, birdwatching, and making his foster mom laugh with his antics. He’s also surprisingly tolerant of nail trims and being picked up—though he’ll definitely give you his opinion about it!If you're looking for a funny, affectionate, slightly dramatic companion who’s always ready to play, talk, and love you fiercely, Berry might just be your perfect match. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Berry was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Berry’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Berry’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Berry’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
