She lives for the admiration of her devoted townspeople—sleeping beside them, on them, or graciously allowing them to play with her. But only humans. As intriguing as the world outside her royal chamber may be, Anja is not one to share her beloved humans with other cats or dogs . Like all queens, Anja can be a bit finicky and expects her loyal subjects to understand her royal signals—when petting time is over , when a treat is required , and when she would rather not be relocated from her cozy throne on your lap just because you need to use your computer .She also requests a bit of special attention when it comes to her personal care—namely, her royal mane and noble claws . But worry not! These occasional tasks are a small tribute, considering her excellent litter box habits and no-fuss dining preferences . The laws of the land of Anja may be many—but her love is deep, loyal, and well worth it. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Anja was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Anja’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Anja’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Anja’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
