Laverne may be the tiniest of her trio, but don’t let her size fool you—this girl is all about big fun and bigger pounces on catnip toys! She’s a playful, spirited little fluffball with a heart full of love and a serious passion for anything that crinkles, rolls, or smells like catnip. She’s also the reigning champ of mealtime sprints, zipping back and forth with joy as soon as she hears the can pop!Raised in a nurturing foster home with her sisters, other kittens, adult cats, and a rotation of kind humans, Laverne has been well-socialized and is comfortable in a loving home environment. She’s used to being doted on and will gladly soak up affection from anyone willing to give her some lap time and chin scratches.Laverne is happiest when she has a feline friend by her side and would love to be adopted with one of her sisters, either Patty or Maxine. She would also be happy with a new young playful kitty friend though!From her silly zoomies to her cuddly naps, Laverne is the perfect mix of playful and precious. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Laverne was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Laverne’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Laverne’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Laverne’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
