Meet Chipie, a darling mama kitty who is ready to retire from motherhood and into the easy life! Chipie and her kittens (Fraggle and Rock) originally came into foster care at FFF after being found homeless on the streets of Chicago. While she has done a great job raising her babies, it's clear she is ready to move on to the next phase of her life with a bit less responsibility! Chipie is a demure personality, often enjoying a calmer and easier going household. When she settles in, she loves playing with laser pointers and feather toys and also relaxing on the couch or the cat tree. While Chipie is happy to be an independent girl, she does enjoy the company of other cats and could either be a solo cat or join a household with an existing kitty pal. She would love adopters who give her the chance to settle in and get to know them, and once you earn that trust, it's for life! Chipie could do well in any home, but she does tend to be a bit of a girl's girl and seems to bond best with the female humans in her foster home. Chipie is such a sweetheart and she is very affectionate. She enjoys pets and affection from trusted human companions. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Chipie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Chipie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Chipie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Chipie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
