Let me introduce you to little Miss Mia Ann. This sweet mother of FIVE is just waiting until she can be an empty-nester again. Or well, at least empty enough that she doesn’t need to be babysitting any more. Mia Ann is a lovely and caring young cat who enjoys some gentle scritches and some nice cuddly nap time between her meals. Now that her kids are mostly grown, she sure does enjoy a playful pounce on some toy mice or a little chase of the feather wand. But whatever you do, watch your plates! This girly sure does enjoy the finer foods. Leave out your snack for later and you may just not have any left… Mia Ann would do well in pretty much any home. She is used to kitten shenanigans, and could deal with young cats or young humans. She is also currently living with a family dog and is tolerating her canine friend just fine!Mia Ann is a cute, stealthy girl who could double as a night burglar. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mia Ann was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mia Ann’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Mia Ann’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mia Ann’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
