Meet Ginger This is the story of a tiny survivor. Along with his two brothers, Ginger made it out of a city shelter in the nick of time. They were orphaned at just 4 weeks old, but Ginger adapted like a champ—learning to eat solid food, use the litter box, and explore the world around him with gentle curiosity.Ginger is a striking black-and-white “cow kitty” with a bold black mask and a stunning plume tail. Of the three, he’s the quiet thinker—the one who takes a beat to watch and assess before joining in on the fun. Whether it’s a new toy or a fresh bowl of food, Ginger likes to make his move thoughtfully (but make no mistake, he will always get in on the action!). He’s the gentlest of the trio, with a sweet, observant nature and a heart full of love.He enjoys wrestling and racing with his brothers, Gigi and George, and would be happiest adopted with one of them or into a home with a kind, young feline friend. Ginger loves the laser toy, springs, and a good cuddle on the couch. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ginger (aka Telly) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ginger (aka Telly)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Ginger (aka Telly)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ginger (aka Telly)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
