Meet Maggie – The Sweet & Loving Sidekick! Maggie is a gentle, laid-back little girl who thrives in a calm yet playful environment. She especially enjoys spending time with humans and her sister Lisa! These two are a dynamic duo, always playing, cuddling, and exploring together. Maggie is the more relaxed of the duo, preferring long cat naps until the sound of treats rustling wakes her up.Although Maggie and Lisa get along well with other cats, they need to be adopted together. Lisa is her sister and best buddy! They're also comfortable with their foster family’s small dog, though they prefer to keep their distance. They are kid friendly! Maggie absolutely adores affection once you make the first move. Pick her up, and she’ll happily stay in your arms, purring away in contentment. She loves scratches, especially when she’s curled up in a cozy spot. Her favorite toys are anything with feathers or strings, and while she enjoys playtime, she’s definitely more of a laid-back observer compared to her more adventurous sister.Maggie is totally treat obsessed! When you bring out the she’ll hilariously climb your leg like a little tree climber to get her share! If she had a superpower, it would be using her kitty cat stare to convince you to hand over just one more treat. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Maggie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Maggie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Maggie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Maggie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
