Mischief is a precious girl who is happiest cuddling on your lap! While she was a bit mischievous when she was younger, she is now a loveable 7-year-old sweetheart who just wants to be pet. She has been an excellent mama to her four kittens, and now she is ready for a calm home where she can cuddle quietly with her furever family…she loves her humans and people in general! When it’s time to play, she enjoys her toy mice and any string toy! She is also a great conversationalist- many times if you ask her questions she will meow in response. This gorgeous grey-and-white kitty had a rough start in life…she was abandoned outside as a kitten in frigid 50-below temperatures. Her first foster found her just in time and nursed her back to health…it took one month until she could drink from a bowl. Despite her past, she truly loves to be around people, and would likely do best in a home where she is the only cat. While she does prefer a calm environment, she would probably be fine with older, respectful children. Having never been around a canine companion, it is unsure if she would be a good fit for a house with a dog. After everything she has been through, Mischief deserves to settle down and cuddle to her heart’s content! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mischief was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mischief’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Mischief’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mischief’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
