Meet Kai – A Gentle Soul Ready for a Second Chance Kai is a stunning 2-year-old Blue Point Balinese with the most mesmerizing blue eyes you’ve ever seen. Behind his gorgeous looks is a tender heart that’s been through a lot. Surrendered to a city shelter, Kai was deeply shut down and heartbroken. With time, patience, and lots of love, he’s begun to open up and show the sweet, affectionate boy he truly is.Kai loves being pet, especially under the chin, and he’s got plenty to say—this chatty guy will talk to you throughout the day! While he’s not much of a player yet, he enjoys lounging in cozy spots, using his scratch post, and savoring his favorite wet food (bonus points if there’s gravy!). He’s still regaining his confidence, so Kai needs a calm, patient adopter who understands that healing takes time. The ideal home for him would be with someone who is home often and able to spend time helping him continue to grow and thrive. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kai Snowball was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kai Snowball’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Kai Snowball’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kai Snowball’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
