This bonded pair of sisters have just the right amount of spunk and sweetness. As is with most bonded pairs, one is a little more on the shy/quiet side, while the other is more outgoing. They both have so much personality and they can't wait to share it with you! They would be absolutely lost without each other, so they need to be adopted together. Murie is the quieter of the two girls, but she absolutely loves attention. She can often be found rubbing on the legs of her people, asking for pets and scratches. She is known to be a bit chatty when it comes to mealtimes and when her family comes home after being gone. She will be the first one to welcome them home to ask them about their day. She is a great companion. Scarlet is more outgoing and has a big personality. She will constantly beg for attention and loves affection in any form, but especially neck scratches and belly rubs. She is also a vocal girl and has a very loud purr. She really just wants you to know how happy you make her. Both of the girls enjoy toys and have plenty of kitten energy. When they aren't playing, they love to snuggle up in their fluffy beds for a nap. They love climbing high up in their cat tree and watching birds out the window. They love treats and could certainly use a few to help fatten them up a bit. They are quite petite. They would be fine with another cat in their home, but have not been exposed to dogs. They would do fine with gentle kids. Murie and Scarlet can be found hanging out at the Oswego PetSmart while they wait for their forever family to find them. Stop by and check them out. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Murie and Scarlet (bonded pair) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Murie and Scarlet (bonded pair)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Murie and Scarlet (bonded pair)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Murie and Scarlet (bonded pair)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
