About this Dog
Bernice is quite possibly the happiest dog you will ever meet. She is a 60 lb Lab mix lady. She is happy to meet everyone – people and animals alike. She loves to play with you and with other dogs. She loves to play fetch and her favorite toy is a big rope toy to fetch and carry around and also to play tug with the other dogs. She has been good with the cats, however if another dog shows too much interest, she is quick to join to try to play with them. She is housetrained and a wonderful companion. While she is always ready to play outside, at 5 years old, she is also content just hanging out with you. Bernice is a tripod, and even though that does not slow her down in the least she does best on floors that have some traction. She also goes up and down stairs with ease. Since she loves to run and play, her ideal home would have a fenced yard. Bernice is an all around great girl that would make a great addition to any family size. Her favorite thing on this earth is going to be YOU. Bernice is currently undergoing her final treatment for heartworm. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bernice was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bernice’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bernice’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bernice’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
