He came in with his equally adorable brother, Danny DeVito, and while they’re not a bonded pair, they share the same playful, affectionate spirit—with Tony bringing a little extra snack enthusiasm to the table! Tony is fun, energetic, and full of personality. He’s the kind of pup who keeps you laughing with his goofy antics, then melts into your side for kisses and cuddles. He’s super smart and eager to please—he learned “sit” in just 10 minutes. He keeps a clean kennel and is reportedly dog-friendly, with great body language when meeting new canine pals at the shelter. He listens well (especially for a Shar Pei! ) and absolutely thrives when he’s close to his people. His minimum adoption fee is $325 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tony Danza was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tony Danza’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Tony Danza’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tony Danza’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
