About this Dog
Aliya is a beautiful, bright, and affectionate young pup, estimated to be born on June 12, 2024, and currently weighing in at 36.1 pounds. This gorgeous Klee Kai is the perfect mix of playful and peaceful—always up for a walk or a cuddle on the couch. Aliya is doing well in her crate (especially if there’s a treat involved!) and sleeps soundly on the couch next to her foster dad at night. She's making progress with house training and just needs a bit more consistency to fully master it. An active girl, Aliya goes on 6-mile walks daily—3 miles in the morning and 3 in the evening—and absolutely loves it. Her favorite part? Splashing through the fountain in Uptown Circle. She's quick and agile, so a fenced-in yard would be a great fit for her. Aliya has gotten along well with the small dog in her foster home and played nicely with a shelter dog, though she’s definitely more of a people-dog. She hasn’t had a lot of exposure to young kids yet, but her calm and gentle demeanor makes us think she’ll do great with them, too. Her minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Adopt Aliya and Receive Aliya's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Aliya's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Aliya's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Aliya, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Aliya's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Aliya was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Aliya’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Aliya’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Aliya’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
