About this Dog
Meet Gemma, a sweet and energetic 2-year-old, 33-pound Husky mix who’s looking for a home where she can run, play, and be the happy companion she’s meant to be! Gemma is house and crate trained, and she loves to race around the house, play fetch, and go for long walks. She’s friendly, outgoing, confident, and playful. Gemma is still working on her dog-to-dog communication skills and can become overwhelmed in certain situations with other dogs. Because of this, she’s looking for a home where she can be your one and only pup. She’ll thrive as the center of attention and give all her love to her humans! Due to her energy, Gemma is better suited for a family with kids over 8 years old, as her playful nature might unintentionally knock over smaller children. She’d love a fenced yard where she can run freely and burn off her energy. Gemma is also a big fan of chewing on bones and fluffies and enjoys quiet downtime after a fun-filled day. If you're looking for an active, loving, and fun companion who will be your loyal sidekick, Gemma could be your perfect match! Her minimum adoption fee is $100 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Adopt Gemma and Receive Gemma's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Gemma's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Gemma's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Gemma, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Gemma's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Gemma was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Gemma’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Gemma’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Gemma’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
