About this Dog
Marigold is a lovely mixed-breed pup with an estimated birthday of April 17, 2025, and weighs about 21 pounds. This friendly but sometimes shy girl is still learning the ropes of puppy life, making great progress with her house training and doing wonderfully in her crate. She is happiest when she has toys to play with, a yard to run in, and dog friends her own size or smaller to romp with. While Marigold can be a little reserved at first—especially with bigger dogs—she warms up beautifully with time and patience. Once she feels safe, her playful, affectionate side shines through. She loves to kiss the faces of her people and her dog siblings, often inviting them to a game of tag around the yard. She enjoys zoomies, couch-jumping adventures, and showing off her silly puppy energy. Marigold is good with elementary school aged children, cats, and dogs. She’s very treat-motivated, which will help with continued training. A fenced yard is a must for this girl, as she’s not yet comfortable walking on a leash and she loves to run and play freely. Marigold will thrive in an active home that understands she may need time to build trust, but once she does, she’ll be a loyal and joyful companion. Her minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Adopt Marigold and Receive Marigold's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Marigold's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Marigold's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Marigold, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Marigold's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Marigold was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Marigold’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Marigold’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Marigold’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
