About this Dog
Glowy is a shy girl who’s been through a lot and is still learning that the world—and people—can be safe. Her foster family describes her as sweet but very timid. She’s still unsure about affection and will submissively pee when she gets nervous or overwhelmed. While she allows pets and touches, Glowy remains hand-shy and will need a very patient, understanding adopter who’s willing to give her all the time and space she needs to feel safe.Glowy prefers the indoors and doesn’t like to go outside much, but she will use pee pads or go out in a fenced yard. She gets along fine with other dogs, as long as they respect her space and let her be. She’s not the kind of pup who will immediately run into your arms—but she is the kind of pup who, over time, might show you the quietest, most beautiful kind of trust. If you have a calm home, a gentle heart, and the patience to help Glowy bloom, please reach out—we know her perfect match is out there.Stop by our weekly adoption events on Saturdays from 11-3 pm at 372 Townline Road in Mundelein, IL 60060 to meet our adoptable animals in person.Follow us on Facebook for additional updates and sneak peeks of new dogs! https://www.facebook.com/reachrescue

Adopt Glowy and Receive Glowy's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Glowy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Glowy's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Glowy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Glowy's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Glowy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Glowy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Glowy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Glowy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
