Meet Beta – Your Sweet, Playful, and Curious Athlete! Beta is a sweet male kitten with a big heart and an adventurous spirit. He’s cuddly, affectionate, and loves to be around everyone—whether it’s people, dogs, or other cats. His playful and curious nature keeps him exploring his surroundings, while his athleticism shows when he’s racing around or leaping into action! Beta’s personable charm makes him the perfect companion for someone looking for both a loving cuddle buddy and a playful kitten. If you want a friend who’s always ready for fun and snuggles, Beta is your guy! Beta is fully vetted. He has been neutered, dewormed, vaccinated (age appropriate), microchipped, and is FIV/FELV negative. His adoption donation is $175.00. He is on the hunt for his own completely committed family. Cats can live to be 25 years old, so Beta wants to be sure all applicants will stick with him for better or for worse! PLEASE NOTE: Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs! Some cats also require mates. The pairing is for proper socialization of the kitten to prevent Single Kitten Syndrome. This is for the kitten's future as much as yours. Beta is under 6 months old. We adopt in the local Chicago metro area. We require home visits. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Beta was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Beta’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Beta’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Beta’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
