Meet Monty – Your Energetic, Playful, and Loving Chi-Pug! Monty is a bundle of energy wrapped up in a Chihuahua-Pug mix! This little sweetheart absolutely loves people and craves attention. His playful nature makes him a joy to be around, and he’ll keep you entertained with his lively antics. Monty has a heart full of love and will happily follow you around for cuddles and affection. Like all puppies, he will need structure and a patient, loving home. We recommend training for all puppies—not only to give the puppy learning skills, but because you and your puppy/dog will create a stronger bond just by having gone through training together. Monty is fully vetted. He has been neutered, received age-appropriate vaccines, and is microchipped. Subsequent vaccines will be at the expense of his adopter. His adoption donation is $600.00. He is on the hunt for his own completely committed family. Little dogs can live to be 20+ years old, so Monty wants to be sure his family is all in for better or for worse! IF INTERESTED IN A PUPPY (UNDER 9 MONTHS): You must have a flexible work schedule or someone home all day. Puppies need to be let out to potty often. They need socialization, bonding, and training (housetraining and behavioral training). If you work long hours, have a busy social schedule, or are not financially secure, then a puppy is not for you. We adopt in the local Chicago metro area. We require home visits. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Monty was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Monty’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Monty’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Monty’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
